On Sunday, November 10, Ramona United Methodist Church is host to its annual Turkey Dinner from noon to 5 p.m. and all are welcome. This is the 33rd anniversary of this community event. The Turkey Dinner is held at the Ramona Community Center, 434 Aqua Lane.
Tickets can be purchased at the door or by calling the church at (760) 789-7106. Adults are $10; children 8 and under are $5.
The Turkey Dinner is an annual tradition in Ramona that brings the community together to organize and enjoy an outstanding Thanksgiving meal regardless of one’s ability to pay. Suggested ticket prices are listed, but with enough community support we can make and serve meals for any individual or family in need.
It’s exciting to be celebrating 33 years of reaching out to the community. However, we need everyone’s help. For more information about the Turkey Dinner and how you can help, or for information about the Ramona United Methodist Church, please contact the church office at (760) 789-7106.
