Cooking up Fun and Spiritual Growth at Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School – July 25-29 – 8:30am-11:35am

In this kid-friendly café full of chefs’ hats and aprons, pots and pans, checkered tablecloths, and chalkboard menus, kids explore the Bible as a cookbook filled with recipes for living out God’s word. Through interactive lessons, that are easy for kids to apply to their lives today, boys and girls celebrate biblical festivals that reveal ingredients for being a follower of God. New Weekly Back to Basics Bible Study

All are invited, every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. — visitors, members, or anyone interested in exploring what the Bible means to us today.

Go back to basics. Start from the ground up and build anew. Build to fit our need today. In the case of our faith, that requires that we go back to regular Bible study, but this time with new eyes for a new time in our own lives. There is no better way to do this than to meet with others doing the same thing. That’s why we started a new Bible study, Wednesdays, 6:30-8 p.m. Each week, it’s based on the lectionary reading for Sunday, so you can come to church prepared — or preview what you’ll miss if you can’t make it Sunday. The pre-school day care center at RUMC is open weekdays, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Licensed by the California State Department of Social Services, Facility 3376600488, our school is a nurturing, Christian learning center for young children.

Qualified and credentialed teachers give loving care in a Christian environment. Children develop healthy attitudes about themselves and others; develop an awareness of the small world they live in so they will be prepared to live in the larger world; and develop skills necessary for positive experiences in learning.

There is new educational, manipulative, and art material. We have chapel every Tuesday, a fun and fitness time, and once a month the story lady comes. As the children leave our school, they will be ready to attend kindergarten. They will know that Jesus loves them and has made them special.
